Account creation tutorials: Step-by-step guide for registering on Menivo

Follow these simple steps to create your account and launch your first digital QR menu.

Access the Menivo platform and create your account

Go to menivo.io and press the "Register" button in the top right corner. Fill in the form with your email address and a secure password. You will receive a confirmation email — click the link in the message to activate your account. The registration process takes under 2 minutes and does not require a bank card.

💡 Pro tip: Use a business email address, not a personal one. This will be the address through which you will receive notifications about orders, reservations and reviews from the Menivo platform.

Add your restaurant information

After logging in, you will be directed to the control panel. Press "Add restaurant" and fill in the required fields: restaurant name (in Romanian, the name.ro field), operating hours (hours.ro) and, optionally, a description of at least 30 characters. You can also upload your restaurant logo — the image will be automatically resized and converted to WebP format for optimal performance. For bilingual restaurants, there are dedicated fields in English as well (name.en, description.en, hours.en).

Create your digital menu categories

In the Menu section, add the categories that structure your offer: for example Appetizers, Main Courses, Desserts or Beverages. Each category has a name in Romanian (mandatory) and can be assigned to a department: kitchen, bar or both. Categories can be reordered anytime using drag-and-drop, directly from the platform interface.

Add products with photos, prices and descriptions

In each category, add the products from your menu. Complete the product name, description, ingredients, price and weight. You can mark if the product is frozen or has other special attributes. Add an attractive photo — the platform automatically processes images in WebP format. Don't forget to select the food allergens present in the product, mandatory according to current legislation in Romania.

Generate your restaurant's unique QR code

Once your menu is configured, access the QR Code section in the Menivo control panel. The platform automatically generates a unique QR code for your restaurant, linked directly to your digital menu. Download the QR code in high-resolution format and print it to display on tables, at the entrance or on your restaurant's promotional materials.

Choose the right subscription and activate advanced features

A valid and active email address (preferably business)
The official name of the restaurant and complete address
The venue's updated operating hours
